GATE Impact - Environmental and Social Impact Investing Platform

GATE Technologies LLC has launched its newest GDM (GATE Developing Marketplace), GATE Impact. GATE Impact utilizes the powerful market infrastructure engine developed by GATE Technologies LLC and applies it to the impact investing space.

Impact investing is a progressive new philosophy whereby an investor proactively seeks to place capital in businesses that can generate financial returns in addition to the intended social and environmental goals. GATE Impact will centralize the way impact investments are made by applying established innovative technology to create market infrastructure, and provide portfolio management, informational content, and the metrics necessary to measure and manage the performances of these types of investments.

GATEway, the pilot platform created in partnership and with a financial investment by Prudential Financial, will initially focus on Prudential's social impact portfolio. GATEway will be broadly expanded in 2012 to include institutional investment managers and impact investors. This robust software application will enable investors to access research, analytics, trading, settlement, clearing and reporting metrics for socially and environmentally responsible investors all while maintaining a regulatory compliant and secure environment.
